Robert Hemenway, PhD

Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Bob received his Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno. He has over 44years of experience in psychotherapy. Before working as a psychologist, he was a minister. He deals with adults, children, and adolescents as well as sex offenders and victims of sexual abuse. He enjoys communication and spiritual counseling. Bob is President of the Board of Directors for Alpha Productions Technologies, a sheltered workshop. He is also Executive Director for Steps to New Freedom, a congregate care facility. He is the father of five children, and grandfather of 9. Bob enjoys outdoor activities, climbing, snowboarding, fishing, and hunting with his family and friends.

Leeanne Hemenway, PhD

Licensed Psychologist and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Born and raised in Reno, Leeanne received her Masters Degree in Counseling and Educational Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno and a second Masters Degree and Ph.D. in Psychology from Fielding Graduate University. She enjoys working with grief/medical issues, depression and anxiety. She has 5 adult children and nine grandchildren.

R. Dale Loftis, MS MFT

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Dale received his Masters Degree in counseling from Central Arkansas State University, with post-graduate work at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and Reno. His expertise is in abuse recovery, adoptions and foster care. Here at Agape, he works as a facilitator of men’s groups. He has worked in residential treatment for 26 years and over 300 foster children have lived under his care. The father of six, Dale enjoys hunting, camping, and rural living.

Tony Wildey MFT

Mr. Bruce Harkreader, CPCI

Clinical Professional Counselor Intern

 

Mr. Harkreader is a clinical professional counselor intern that graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Master in Science Degree in Professional Counseling. His first career was in case management with two state agencies and he retired from the State of Nevada in April of 2016. His skill is in individual counseling and offender reintegration is his primary focus at Agape Psychological Services where he was first a practicum student and currently as a CPC-Intern.

Kiya Lanfair

Office Administrative Assistant

 

Born and raised in Reno, Kiya Lanfair is the newest addition to Agape Psychological Services.  She will most likely be the first person you encounter at our office.  A caring and kind individual, she is at the front line.

Cheri Hadsell

Office Manager – Case Worker

 

Cheri Hadsell has worked in an office environment for more than 30 years. Cheri has been the office manager at Agape Psychological Services for 11 years. She is personable, likes to talk to the clients and put them at ease. Before working at Agape, she worked for more than 16 years for two engineering firms as an administrative assistant. Prior to working for the engineering firms, Cheri was a stay-at-home mom. Cheri grew up with a military father, then married a military man. As a result, Cheri moved all over the United States and has lived in 3 foreign countries. Cheri has been married for 34 years and has 2 adult sons, 1 daughter-in-law, and 2 grandchildren. She became a Christian as a teenager and continues to remain very active in her church. Cheri likes reading, playing cards and board games, and spending time with her family.
